My installations in nature, as in the Namib Desert, deals with infinity, being confronted with a contrast and limited color planes. These color planes often run in a line that appears endlessly.

The documentary photographs were taken by myself always. It is my intention that the dimensions of both, the objects and the environment, remain unclear. The viewer remains alone with an openended question. As in my paintings and drawings the image is showing just an excerpt, a fragment of an unknown whole. Timelessness and endlessness seem to constantly recur similar themes of the various techniques and materials.
